Predictive, progressive and preview diallers for outbound teams. Set up, tuned, and kept compliant with Ofcom rules on abandoned calls.£8,000 to £15,000

A dialler is the engine behind an outbound calling team. Instead of agents copying numbers off a list and dialling by hand, the system does the dialling, filters out the dead lines, engaged tones and answerphones, and only passes a live human to an agent. On a floor of any size that is the difference between agents talking to people and agents listening to ringing.
There are three ways it does this. Preview lets the agent see the record and choose when to dial, which suits complex or high-value calls. Progressive dials automatically the moment an agent is free, one call at a time. Predictive runs ahead of the team, dialling several numbers at once on the maths that some will not answer, which drives the most contacts but has to be tuned carefully or it starts dropping calls on real people.
That tuning is where the compliance lives. Ofcom has firm rules on abandoned and silent calls, and a badly set predictive dialler breaks them quickly and expensively. We build the system, set the ratios to your actual answer rates, wire in do-not-call and TPS screening, and keep the evidence that shows you stayed inside the lines.

The headline is simply more conversations. A team that was manually dialling and reaching a handful of people an hour will, on a well set up dialler, reach several times that, because the machine absorbs all the dead time an agent used to spend listening to numbers not connect. You are paying agents to talk, and this is what lets them actually talk.
The quieter benefit is that you can see and manage the floor. Live wallboards show who is on a call, who is idle, and how the campaign is tracking against target, while recordings and outcome data tell you which scripts and which lists actually convert. Managing an outbound team on gut feel is guessing; managing it on this data is a job you can do well.
And it keeps you out of trouble. The rules on outbound calling are not optional, and the fines are real. Building the compliance in from the start, rather than bolting it on after a complaint, is the difference between a system that grows your business and one that becomes a liability the day the regulator asks a question.

Illustrative cases. Tap one to see what happened and what could have been done.
The case
A sixteen-seat sales team was manually dialling from spreadsheets and reaching maybe six or seven live people an hour each, paying agents to listen to numbers not connect rather than to talk.
What could have been done
A progressive dialler with screen pops from their CRM and clean list screening roughly trebles contact rates without adding a single agent, because the dead time between calls disappears. It pays for itself long before the quarter is out.
The case
An energy broker had inherited a predictive dialler set aggressively and dropping far more calls than Ofcom allows, with no record of any of it, which is a single complaint away from a serious problem.
What could have been done
Retuning the ratios to their real answer rates, switching on abandoned-call monitoring with proper logging, and producing a report a regulator would accept removes the risk while contacts barely dip.
