The repetitive work handed to a machine. Quote to invoice, document processing, chasing, routing and reporting.£6,000 to £15,000

AI automation is simply handing the repetitive, rules-based parts of your work to software. Not the judgement calls, not the relationships, but the grind: copying figures from a PDF into your accounts, chasing an unpaid invoice on day seven, sorting incoming emails to the right person, pulling the same report together every Monday. The jobs nobody enjoys and everybody still has to do.
The newer part is that AI now handles work that used to need a person because it involved reading and understanding, not just moving data. An agent can read a supplier invoice and understand it is an invoice, pull the right numbers whatever the layout, answer a customer's question from your own documents, or triage a message by what it actually means. That is a real step beyond the rigid automation of a few years ago.
This is the clearest case of code reaching where a person cannot. Not because it is cleverer, but because it does not tire, does not forget, and does not mind doing the same dull thing perfectly at three in the morning as at nine. We work out which parts of your process are genuinely that kind of work, automate those, and deliberately leave the human judgement where it belongs.
See it work
Pick something that happens in your day and watch the busywork run itself.
A scripted demonstration of a real workflow shape. We build these against your own tools, so the exact steps and systems are yours.
The first thing it gives back is people. When the quote-to-invoice shuffle or the daily report builds itself, the person who used to do it is freed for work that actually needs a human: the difficult customer, the unusual case, the thing that grows the business. You are not cutting the team, you are aiming it at what people are good at.
The second is that the boring jobs stop being done badly. Humans are wonderful and also inconsistent: the chase gets forgotten on a busy week, a figure gets fat-fingered, a step gets skipped under pressure. Software does the dull task the same way every time, so the errors that quietly cost money and embarrass you in front of customers simply stop happening.
And it scales without hiring. Double the invoices, the enquiries or the documents and a manual process needs another pair of hands; an automated one just runs more. For a growing business that is the difference between growth being a strain and growth being something the systems quietly absorb.

The case
A property firm needed key dates and figures pulled out of fifteen years of scanned lease documents, thousands of them, in every layout imaginable. By hand it would have taken a person the best part of a year and been riddled with typos by the end.
What could have been done
Extraction that reads the lot in an afternoon, flags the handful it is unsure about for a human to check, and hands back clean, searchable data. That is not a person working faster; it is work a person could not realistically do at all.
The case
A trades business had an owner spending most of Sunday turning the week's completed jobs into invoices, then chasing the late payers from memory, so some slipped through.
What could have been done
Wiring the job records straight to invoicing sends invoices the day a job is marked done, and a polite chaser sends itself on a schedule if payment is late. The owner gets their Sundays back and the business gets paid faster because nothing slips.
