What ai audit actually means
An AI audit is a clear-eyed look at how artificial intelligence is already being used in and around your business, what data is going into those tools, and whether any of it is a risk, followed by a plain-English report and a sensible plan. The confidential data going into a free chatbot
A professional firm assumed nobody was using AI, until the audit found several staff were routinely pasting client documents into a free chatbot to speed up their writing, sending confidential information straight out of the business without anyone intending any harm. We identified exactly what was happening, helped them move to a safer arrangement that did the same job without the leak, and gave the team a simple, clear rule. Banning it had just driven it underground
