Wifi and router support is diagnosing and fixing the connection problems that make working from a particular room or a particular desk a misery: the drop-outs, the dead spots, and the wifi that is perfectly fine everywhere except exactly where you sit and work. We find why it is happening, sort it, and give you honest advice on whether any new hardware is genuinely worth buying or whether the kit you already have can be made to do the job.

Wifi problems are frustrating precisely because they are invisible and intermittent. A connection that works most of the time but drops during the important video call, or is strong in the hall and useless in the back office, is hard to pin down by trial and error, and the internet is full of confident advice that does not apply to your particular layout. The cause might be the router, its position, interference, the building itself, or simply too much distance, and each needs a different fix.

We work out which it actually is rather than guessing, then fix it: repositioning or reconfiguring the router, sorting the settings, securing the network properly so neighbours or passers-by are not quietly on it, and, where the layout genuinely needs it, advising on mesh or extra kit to reach the dead spots. Crucially, we tell you straight when new hardware is worth the money and when it is not, rather than selling you a box that will not solve the real problem.
