Acceptable use policy
Last reviewed 22 July 2026
The rules for using the hosting, connectivity, email and systems we provide. They exist to keep every client's service safe and available.
What you must not do
You agree not to use anything we provide to:
- Break the law, or help anyone else break it
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or breach PECR when marketing
- Host or distribute malware, phishing pages or stolen data
- Attack, scan or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, ours or anyone else's
- Infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights
- Store or share unlawful, harmful or grossly offensive material
Security is shared
Keep your credentials safe, use multi factor authentication where we offer it, and tell us straight away if you think an account has been compromised. Do not share access with people who should not have it. Automated abuse of shared resources that degrades service for others is not permitted.
Suspension
Where use genuinely threatens the security, availability or legality of a service, we may suspend the affected part to protect other clients, and we will tell you why and work with you to put it right as quickly as possible. We keep suspension proportionate and reserve it for real risk, not minor issues.
