A mix of remote support and going out to customer sites across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
Windows and Linux servers, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, networks, firewalls, VoIP handsets and the occasional printer that has developed opinions.
You get your own set of clients rather than an anonymous ticket queue, so people learn your name and you learn their setup.
There is an on call rotation, shared fairly across the team and paid.
Genuinely optional. Nobody has ever ticked every box on one of these lists.
